La Casa de Chupey — Residency Agreement

Contents

1. Parties & Location

This Agreement is entered into between La Casa de Chupey (“Provider”) and Princess Erin (“Resident”), for residency at Prison Street.

2. Term of Residency

The residency term is week-to-week, requiring renewal each week, or until departure for a treatment facility, beginning December 26, 2025.

3. Substance Use & Testing

Resident agrees to a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol, illicit drugs, and non-prescribed controlled substances. The first 7 days require progressive de-escalation, achieving zero use (excluding tobacco) by Day 7. Scheduled testing occurs on Day 7 and random testing thereafter using breathalyzer, urine, or sniff tests; the Provider covers testing costs.

4. Attendance & Participation

Resident agrees to attend recovery meetings every 3 days, daily check-ins, daily house duties and upkeep, wake by 9:00 AM, midnight curfew, 3 hours daily school/career/research, and 4 hours outside the house in productive activity.

5. Curfew & Late Policy

Resident agrees to a midnight curfew. Late without notice is recorded; subsequent unapproved late returns incur additional house tasks assigned by management.

6. Financial Terms

$50 per week lodging fee and $50 per week for provisions or equivalent house tasks are due at the start of Week 2 and each following week. Earnest efforts are required; insincere or sarcastic effort is not tolerated.

7. Guest & Visitor Policy

Guests permitted with 6 hours notice; immediate notice requests considered by management. All visitors must be approved, sober, and comply with house rules. Disruptive visits may be ended.

8. Conduct & Respect

Disrespect, sarcasm, passive-aggressive conduct, or demeaning language toward Provider, belongings, neighbors, facility, staff, or residents will not be tolerated. Clear communication and “talk it out” debriefs are required for major conflicts. Noise must remain at or below normal conversation level; audio devices muted during verbal communication.

9. Resident Rights & Grievances

Resident has the right to dignity, respect, a safe environment, freedom from abuse, confidential records (including recordings and video), and to send/receive mail. Recordings are not shared except as required by law or necessary with authorities. Except in personal care areas, presence may be video/audio recorded unless requested off for personal reflection or group time.

Grievances follow an informal attempt, written submission, Provider response within 48 hours, investigation (including recordings) with resident access on request, and final written decision by 72 hours.

10. Termination & Notice

Serious infractions result in immediate termination with verbal and text notice; authorities may be involved as necessary. Lesser infractions are logged and texted with consequences.

11. Emergency Reporting

Resident must report emergencies or critical house issues (e.g., broken fixtures, fire, leaks, depleted basic goods) immediately to Provider via call/text.

12. Altruistic Purpose

This arrangement is purely altruistic; Provider incurs costs out of compassion and support. Resident agrees to view rules and expectations through the lens of collective good and recovery support.

13. Shared Understanding

This Agreement reflects mutual respect and shared purpose, not a formal legal contract, grounded in trust, honesty, and cooperation.
